Every year, the opportunity arrises for cadets to go on annual camps. These occur at different periods of the year such as summer camps, easter camps, and even camps during half terms.
On these camps cadets will enjoy a large range of Air Training Corps Activities condensed into one week
Annual camps take place on RAF bases located around the country and provides a valuable insight into military life
Adventure Training Camps
The Air Training Corps has two adventure training centres, one located at Llanbedr in West Wales and the other at Windermere in the Lake District.
Activities on these camps include rock climbing and hill walking
Overseas Camps
Cadets also get the opportunity to go on overseas camps, locations including Germany, Gibraltar and Cyprus.
Many of the activities are similar to those found on UK annual Camps but cadets also get the opportunity to explore the customs of a foreign country.
International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE)
This scheme currently encompases 19 air cadet organisations from around the globe. And each year one of those countries hosts cadets from all over the world.
This provides a fantastic opportunity to get to know foreign culture, but also to learn how other Air Cadet Organisations work.
